Approaches & methods
My way of working combines clarity, empathy and practical feasibility. I work in a neuro-affirmative, client-centred, resource-oriented, goal-oriented and process-oriented way – so that changes are not only understood but also sustainable in everyday life.
My five core attitudes
Neuro-affirmative
For me, being neuro-affirmative means not seeing neurodivergence as a deficit that has to be «corrected», but as a natural form of human diversity. In coaching, it is therefore not about adapting you to external norms, but about understanding together how you function, what you need and which conditions are good for you. Self-understanding, relief and a coherent, everyday-workable way of dealing with your own particularities are at the centre.
Client-centred
You — with your concern, your life reality and your pace — are at the centre. I don't rely on rigid solutions, but on what is coherent, feasible and helpful for you.
Resource-oriented
We don't only look at difficulties, but also at what is already there: abilities, experiences, interests, protective factors and strategies that work. We build on that.
Goal-oriented
Coaching should not remain vague. Together we clarify what should concretely change and develop realistic, achievable steps that fit your everyday life.
Process-oriented
Change often does not happen in a linear way. That's why we also look at inner patterns, blockages, ambivalences and developments that emerge along the way. It's not only the goal that counts, but also the path to get there.
Methodological elements
Depending on the concern and need, I work with various methodological building blocks, including:
