FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Here you’ll find answers to the most common questions about coaching, the practice and how things work. Can’t find your question? Just send me a message — I’ll reply personally.

Can I book coaching even without a diagnosis?

Yes. A diagnosis is not a requirement — you’re welcome with a suspicion, too. And even without neurodivergence: my coaching is equally open to neurotypical people.

How long does a coaching journey last?

As long as you want it to. At the end of each session we usually set concrete, achievable goals — and in the next session we look together at how things went. So you decide how long the journey lasts.

Do I need to bring anything special?

No. Stimming tools are available for you at the practice. You’re welcome to bring your own — and anything else that helps you feel comfortable.

Do I need a concrete goal before the first session?

No. You can also get in touch about a broader topic — organisation, exhaustion/burnout or relationship issues, for example. In the first session we map out the area together and, if you like, develop goals together.

Can sessions take place online?

Yes. Sessions are possible at the practice in Winterthur or online — at the same rate. Just tell me your preference when you get in touch.

In which language does the coaching take place?

In English, German, Spanish or French — whichever feels most comfortable for you. The background: I am a trained conference interpreter (Spanish–German) and am also fully at ease in French and English — languages are my trade.

Is the practice low-stimulus?

The practice is calm and furnished with bookshelves. If you have particular sensory sensitivities, let me know before your session — I’ll adapt the room accordingly. The same goes for preferences or aversions, for example regarding scents.

Is there water, coffee or other drinks?

I provide water. And you’re always welcome to bring your favourite drink.

Does health insurance cover the costs?

Coaching is a self-pay service — basic health insurance does not cover it. Some supplementary insurance plans contribute (best to check with your insurer in advance) — all prices are listed transparently on the pricing page.

What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the session. Later cancellations are charged. Just let me know as early as possible — we’ll find a new appointment.

Does coaching replace psychotherapy?

No. Coaching and psychotherapy have different roles — coaching replaces neither diagnostics nor treatment. You can read how I draw the line on the page “Coaching or therapy?”.

Does what we discuss stay confidential?

Yes. Everything you share with me is treated as strictly confidential and is never passed on to third parties without your consent.
